3 Skills in Affiliate Marketing
3 Skills To Learn In Affiliate Marketing
Yo, I remember how tough it was trying to build income in affiliate marketing. It was like throwing spaghetti on the wall thinking it would stick. My marketing sucked, my emails & writing were horrible.
No one would open my emails and if someone did, I was fucking hyped over it hoping that person buys from me. They didn’t. And why would they if they could? I was a loser trying to make this stupid program work for me.
Didn’t have the right attitude and no direction. I was just about to give up because for days, and weeks of not trying to figure out how to make this work, 2 successful people over the years changed my life showing me the 3 most important skills that get leads and sales.
So now you’re about to learn these 3 skills that are going to help you get results for your business. Let’s go!
Facts Tell Stories Sell
If your content on social media is all about your online business, flashing cash and cars, or any other “fake it until you make it” tactic, you will fail. When you’re building your “you brand”, get good at creating story-based content on social media, emails, or blogs.
Study some of these commercial ads. Don’t they love telling stories before selling you? Don’t bore your audience with another bullshit ad. Get better at telling stories.
Writing
Remember how I told you how terrible I was at writing, right? Well ever since I got the education on how to write emails, I was able to make sales with my emails with my list. If you’re building an email list, get good at writing.
Remember, people read emails, not ads. I recommend 2 books to read. The first book is “The Ultimate Sales Letter by Dan Kennedy. The second is “Copywriting Secrets by Jim Edwards.
Patience
Most people typically ask “How soon will I be able to make money in affiliate marketing.” A question like this is the reason why most people fall flat on their asses when they have no success. Education plus skill plus patience equals success.
Stop focusing on the money. Trust in the process if you want to progress. Don’t throw in the towel because it’s taking you weeks, months, Hell, even a year to have success. Shit will take time, have patience, and always trust in the process.
