Building Affiliate Marketing Without A Budget

I get it. You’re trying your best to build your affiliate marketing program with little or no budget to start. I was just like you when I started in affiliate marketing.

I didn’t have much money and I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. It was frustrating and overwhelming. There was so much information I didn’t know where or how to start.

So I understand your frustration. Instead of focusing on your budget, I want you to focus on getting your content out there by learning how to optimize your content so that it’s easily found in main search engines like Google that get the most traffic. And what I’m talking about is SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

In this article, you’ll get a crash course on how to use SEO and other tools needed when injecting your content with SEO juice that generates free leads (organic traffic).

So, let’s say for example you’re creating a training video on how to make money online with affiliate marketing. You want to make sure your video title has a targeted keyword or phrase. This means your keyword or phrase must be a targeted keyword people are searching for, that’s looking for ways to make money online.

So, the title could be something like “Make Money Online – Tips and Tricks”. Your keyword obviously would be “money”. So when the title of your video, and the description of your content have the word “money”, SEO is in the process of getting you ranked at the top of Google’s search engine.

Now to be clear, don’t think this process will happen overnight. That’s not realistic. I’m just giving you an example of how SEO works. Now the next step is you need the right online tools in place that collect your leads if you get your audience interested in your affiliate program.

I hope I’m not losing you here and you’re scratching your head like “What the Hell is he talking about now?”. And if you’re feeling that way I get it because I was lost too in the beginning. Now an email autoresponder is the way to communicate with your leads.

So instead of using Gmail or Yahoo to send your huge list of emails manually (which in 2024, isn’t a good idea if you want your account banned), the autoresponder sends broadcast emails and newsletters to your list.

If you have a big list you can group your list through segmenting which I won’t get into right now but I’ll leave you info at the bottom of this article. What I use as an autoresponder is called Aweber.

You’re able to create capture pages. There are other funnel builders out there, but right now you don’t have a budget so I recommend using Aweber because it’s free and there’s a paid service once you have a budget.

So in the diagram above, that’s the process you go through when running organic traffic leveraging social media. With the right tools in place properly in your affiliate business, you’re now driving organic traffic without breaking bank.

The key is to keep creating content that matches the market people are looking for. Serving your tribe, helping to solve their problems. You must stay consistent in this process regularly. Because leads are the lifeblood of your business. Your leads die, your dies.
