2 Major Reasons Newbies Quit Affiliate Marketing
Why I Quit Affiliate Marketing
I remember how captivating those video sales letters created by successful leaders of affiliate marketing were. They sell you good on their stories of how they struggled in the beginning overcoming the pitfalls and successfully earning their 1st 7 figures.
The stories were inspiring and entertaining like a suspense film that had me on the edge of my seat. Their stories resonated with me and I pulled the trigger ready to join affiliate marketing. It was an incredible journey that I failed miserably in.
When I felt the odds were stacked against me, I quit the program for 2 major reasons that I’ll be explaining in this article because many like me, in the beginning, failed due to these 2 reasons.
Reason #1: Focusing On The Money
The mind is conditioned to work for money for the sake of what the money can do for you. Working hard for the money you expect to get paid for your hard work. Working for yourself is different. But you think the system will pay you for the work you do even if you put little or no effort into building it.
You only see what’s in it for you. You’re focused on what the money can do for you. “When I get rich, I’ll buy myself that brand new Audi”, or “I can finally move myself and my family out of this shitty neighborhood”. All good reasons however if all you focus on is the money, not dedicating yourself to this business, then you will fail.
Be patient. The money will come. Just as long as you focus on the step I will share with you reason #2 of this article. Because many like myself in the beginning and others that are beginning made the same mistake.
Reason #2: Lack Of Education & Skills
How does any professional, whether it’s a professional athlete or doctor, lawyer, or even stockbroker become proficient in their line of business? They continue to educate themselves and master skills to become better at their craft, right?
You as an internet marketer promoting affiliate marketing programs, you must do the same. You didn’t think that having success meant letting the leaders do all the work while you make the money is the key to success, did you? That’s not the way this works. There are levels to this shit. Repetition is the mother of all skills.
Conclusion
Remember, winners never quit. They continue being a student learning new skills that feed them for life and more. While quitters never win, jumping into another money-making program gets no results because their ignorance blinds them behind what’s really most important in this business.
