The Balance Between Your Business And Life
Introduction Of Your Business And Life
“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”
If you’re like me, your work life is busy. And if you’re also like me, your personal life
is busy too.
There are so many things competing for our attention that we need to make sure
that we don’t let work dominate our lives. That’s why today I’m going to share with
you four tips on how to balance business and life.
Define Your Why
You work your ass off building your online business for hours. When you need more
money for traffic, you put in extra hours at work. You focus on these activities for what?
More money for business? Or most say more free time?
That begs the question, why do you want to have more money and free time? If it’s
free time you want, your why should be focused on being able to wake up every day
doing something that makes you happy. Creating joyful memories with your spouse
and children.
Being the master and CEO of your own destiny. Going on trips with your family and
sharing the experience you and your family will never forget whenever, where ever
you want on your own terms. That’s what defines your why?
Unforgettable joyful memories. Having control over your time that a job took from
you. Looking at your business activities as steps that get you to the next level.
Set Clear Boundaries
It’s important to remember that you are the boss of your life. You get to decide how
much time you want to spend working and how much time you need for rest
and relaxation.
If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed working your online business, try setting
an end time for your workday (for example: “I will stop working at 7pm every day”).
This can help prevent burnout by giving yourself a deadline that makes it easy to
focus on getting things done instead of letting them pile up until later in the evening
or weekends when they become even more overwhelming.
One of the biggest problems I faced was letting my job at Lyft control my time. I
became so obsessed over giving rides when I came home, I did little to nothing for
my business.
I also was easily distracted by all the bullshit on social media. I knew chasing hot
women from other countries paying too much attention to their lives wouldn’t
get me where I wanted to be.
It’s important to remember that you are the boss of your life. You get to decide
how much time do you want to spend working and how much time do you need
for rest and relaxation.
Keep Your Mind Balanced
When you come home from your 9 – 5 and get straight to your online business,
take at least a 1-hour break.
Try to do something that’s fun. Read a novel or if you’re a comic geek like me,
read a few comic books. Sometimes I like to listen to sound-healing music that
relaxes me.
The benefits of having a balanced mind include:
- Clears your mind and helps to focus on what’s important in life
- Helps relieve stress and anxiety
Be Consistent
You need to be consistent with your mindset, diet, exercise, and sleep schedule.
You also need to be consistent with your income.
If you’re not making any money or making less than what you want then this will
cause stress in your life which can lead to an unhealthy lifestyle.
You can be successful and still maintain a healthy lifestyle. Consistency is key to
achieving your goals.
