The Potential of Email Marketing For Your Business
Email Marketing Can Be Your Own Cash Machine
Email Marketing never made sense to me back then like it does now. I never
wasted a second sending emails I thought people would never open.
I didn’t know shit about how to get people interested in me and what I did
for business. I kept emailing my list promoting offers that got little to no opens.
Most people got sick of what I sent them and unsubscribed from my list. You’re
probably doing the same thing when bombarding people with another boring
email that probably won’t get read. This article should give you some clarity on
what you should be doing when following up with your list.
Build a Quality List In Email Marketing
Focus on growing a quality email list of individuals who have expressed genuine
interest in you by sharing your stories. Remember, people read emails they
don’t read ads. Facts tell stories sell. So don’t bore them. Remember that you’re
dealing with real people with real problems.
Create Engaging and Valuable Content
Get your subscribers to engage in your emails that grab their attention. Think
about those bullshit celebrity magazines you see at grocery stores. If you
saw something like “Nick Cannon and Taylor Swift are planning to have children.”,
that probably would grab your attention, wouldn’t it?
Craft compelling subject lines that create a question mark in the reader’s mind.
Educational articles, helpful tips or “how to” content, and industry updates usually
get their attention.
Integrate With Other Marketing Channels
Make sure to add your social media links to your emails to get more engagement.
Use your emails to promote your blog posts, and webinars and encourage your
subscribers to share your content. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging
across all channels.
Conclusion:
Remember, don’t bore your subscribers with ads that never get read. Building skills
in email marketing takes time and tweaking and continuous improvement. When
you focus on building relationships and providing value, you can unleash its
potential to drive your online business.
