Write Emails They Will Love
Emails Your Audience Will Love
When I 1st started using email marketing for my business, I thought it was a waste of time. At the time there was nobody to show me how to write emails. I wrote emails my way and my way sucked. It was frustrating not getting my leads to open any of my emails. “How the Hell do I get these people’s attention?” thinking to myself.
Later on, I quit emailing my leads because I didn’t see their true value. It was a painful experience but years later I got back to emailing while getting connected with great coaches who provided me with education and other resources. I was getting more opens, and more clicks, and made a few sales.
If you want to learn how I was able to get my audience who didn’t waste a second opening my emails to get more opens and sales, continue reading this article to learn fundamentals on how to get your audience to open your emails.
Create Emails Not Boring Ads
You’re sending the same boring emails and you’re wondering why no one’s opening. How do you feel when some fake marketers bombard you with emails like “I discovered a cool way to earn $1k a week from your laptop. Ask me how?”
You’d be annoyed, right? Of course, you would. So, imagine how your audience feels getting emails with ads. Learn how to have a connection with your list, and bring them into your world. If all you do is email your list ads on top ads, they will delete your emails and remove themselves from your mailing list.
Your audience reads emails, not ads. So stop shoving opportunities down their throats and start bringing them in your world and sharing stories.
Stories Inspire People
Every superhero has a back story. Let’s take Superman for example. He can fly, he’s incredibly strong, he’s fast and bullets fly off him.
But he has weaknesses. And of those weaknesses is Kryptonite (Remains of his home planet Krypton). If he’s too exposed to it, he can die. Also vulnerable to magic.
Now if his story wasn’t interesting enough or if the writer fast-forwarded to Superman starting off him fighting villains, do you think comic fans would still be interested in him?
Probably not. Why? Because the writer didn’t explain the back story.
You as a marketer with a list of email subscribers, think of yourself as the hero. Don’t just talk about your success. Talk about your struggles, and let them know you’re vulnerable.
Don’t be afraid to share your stories. People love to listen to a hero’s or just any fiction or nonfictional character’s backstory.
When you write emails this way, they will gravitate towards you. There are plenty of people out there that will relate to your story. Talk about it and tie it to your marketing.
“Write emails they will love!”
