Why Most Waste No Time Writing Emails
You Fucking Hate Writing Emails
I remember how difficult it was to get people to read my emails. I sucked at my emails, and it was f*cking frustrating not getting subscribers to engage in my content. Most days I was lucky to get at least one open. Most days no one bothers opening at all.
I was going insane, and this system was slowly making me hate it because nothing was happening for me. It took years of practice, trial and error, and getting the right coaching, I was able to finally see some results once I got the help I needed.
So, when a friend on Facebook said “I hate writing emails as much as I hate an ingrown toenail”, it motivated me to write this article. In this article, you’ll get a crash course on how to properly create emails, not pushy corny ads that make your subscribers want to leave your list.
They Don’t Read Off To The Garbage Monster
“I put a lot of effort into writing these emails, how come no one is opening them?”
I’m going to give it to you straight. No one will open your email because maybe your title sucks. And the other thing is you probably have no idea what you’re doing or how to engage with your list that barely knows you.
The main goal in marketing is getting attention. You do this by telling stories. Learn how to pull on those heartstrings, and make your audience feel something. Think about reality TV shows if you watch them. If it doesn’t make you feel, you’ll change the channel.
That’s what your marketing should do when you share your world with your audience like it’s reality TV. Make them feel what you’re writing or else your subscribers will send your emails off to the garbage monster.
What Happens When You Spam
If you send emails with too many bullshit ads, your subscribers will likely complain and whatever autoresponder you’re using can get your account deleted.
Remember, people read emails, not ads. Learn how to build relationships with your list by telling stories. Don’t put your autoresponder account in danger by sending ads that get little to no opens.
