What’s Holding You Back?
This Is What’s Holding You Back
For some time in my life, I was so distracted from a lot of senseless bullshit. I knew
I could do much better with my life if only I applied myself. Circumstances
wouldn’t change if I didn’t change. It was myself that was holding me back.
It was that person I had to look at every single day that was holding me back. And if
I ever wanted my life to turn around, I needed to make tough choices that were going
to hurt like a mother*cker. In this article, I want to delve deep into a few things that
are holding you back from becoming.
Why Is There Fear?
Fear is a programmed condition that keeps you in a safe zone of security. It keeps you
in that zone until the day you die. You see something bigger than yourself, but you’re
of becoming.
“I can’t” and “I won’t” these words become flesh. “I can’t” is the stop-check response
that disables you. “I can’t become that person because I don’t have what it takes”. “I
can’t start this online business because I Don’t know where to begin”. “I can’t start
this online business because I don’t have money to start”.
Understanding that “I Can’t” needs to be followed up with “I need to” is a giant step
to getting out of your comfort zone, and overcoming fear. “I can’t build a blog”…” I
need to learn how to build a blog”. “I can’t afford a website”. “I need to learn how
to do it myself”.
There’s always an answer for “I can’t” – there’s never an answer for “I won’t” If you
believe you can’t you need to find a way you can. If you won’t then continue your
9 to 5 job crush all of your hopes and dreams and blame it on someone else.
Listening To The Wrong People
When you listen to the wrong people you start hanging out with the wrong people.
The wrong people are the ones afraid to become masters of their own sea. They’re
not interested in embracing change or freedom. You become the people you hang
out with.
So, try to hang out with people who motivate and inspire you. People who will tell
you the truth rather than lie to you to keep you comfortable.
Living up to other people’s expectations is as dangerous as a child playing with a
loaded gun. Don’t let a simp keep you from becoming no matter what he or she
tells you and your paradigm.
