Emotionally Attached To Making Money Online

I thought it would be a walk in the park. Living just like all those gurus who were making money online living the dream. So, I pulled out my credit card ready to buy into their program.

Spoiler alert: nothing happened to me. My obsession with money didn’t let me see what it takes to make money online. To make money in days or weeks not knowing what to do was an unrealistic belief. This was 10 years ago. It took a long time to fully understand what was necessary to make money in Internet Marketing.

I see folks who carry the same belief in these programs the way I did once. If you’re new to this business and you’re being misled or bought into a program that left you high and dry, I want this article to shed some light on what it takes to get unattached to the emotion of money and focus on areas I’m about to discuss.

Before you can make any money online, you need to get clear that you must build a know, like, & trust factor. This was one of your biggest problems and you’ll never make money if you’re not learning how to brand yourself, and getting people to know, like & trust you. Keep in mind that people don’t join programs, they join you.

Stop being obsessed over making money and start building an audience of people who are going to gravitate to you. Start giving value, and get good at telling your story to your audience. Learn how to have a human-to-human conversation with people that follow you.

One problem you’re facing is you think you know how to make these programs work for you, not investing in a coach. If you had all the answers, you would be successful like the rest of those money-making gurus that drain your wallet.

Find a coach that wants to see you succeed as much as you do. At times not all coaches have all the answers. You also want to invest in a program that has a community of other successful marketers who will have the answers you seek. So be coachable, listen to what they teach, and apply what you are learning.

Listen, when it comes to traffic, lead generation, and sales, keep in mind you have no control over those things. What you do have control over is the process. So stay consistent, have patience, and never quit. Keep doing the thing that’s going to brand you as a leader and internet marketer. Focus also on being of service to your audience.

F*ck the money, it will come. Focus on the process of building your online business. If your only concern is about money, you’re going to end up jumping from one program to another. You’ll never be successful when you’re on a fixed mindset.
