How A Marketer Rekindles the Ability To Connect With Their Audience
Hey Marketer: Did They Forget You?
Hey marketer! So you set aside your online business and have been on a three-month to a year hiatus due to handling a family crisis or dealing with mindset issues. Most of your audience is probably yelling at their phone or laptops like “Who the hell is this person? They talking to me like they know me!”
Oops! Looks like someone forgot who you are. Don’t worry! It’s fine. I’m going to teach a few things on how to rekindle the ability to connect with your audience.
Stories Grab Us
Everyone loves stories. Stories are what motivate us, they inspire us. It gives us back the confidence we never knew was there. So, tell them your story of where you were, what obstacles were in your way, and what you had to do to get over those hurdles.
Telling your story rekindles your ability to connect with your audience again. It gives people a sense of hope and confidence in themselves like “Wow! There’s someone out there that’s like me.”
Post Your Results
Let’s say you’re using Facebook for your business. When you are getting results, show it to your audience. Don’t just post pics of your results, give value, and tell a story of what you struggled with in the beginning and the steps taken to get you to your goal. Teach them a short lesson about how you got the result. Never hard teach, just educate them on the problem, not how to solve it.
Conclusion
Sometimes you just need to take a break from it all so that you can work on yourself. You can’t serve other people without working on yourself. You’re of no service to others when you’re dealing with issues you have trouble dealing with. Every leader knows this fact.
