Apparently, Money Does Buy You Happiness
The Truth About Money You Should Know
As an infant, you loved the shiny object. Someone took that object away you cried and yelled hysterically. This condition followed you all your life obsessing over success like that shiny object as an infant. Once you achieve the goal of lots of money, all your problems are no more. You can finally trade in that bullshit Toyota Camry that you were too embarrassed to drive and buy you a nice shiny Lamborghini you always wanted since you were a kid.
You picture yourself driving it along the coastline with the top-down smell that fresh air and ocean water getting all the attention. You may think you’ll be happy achieving the goal of having an abundance of money, but what about all other factors you probably struggled with throughout your life money or not? You probably have this belief rich people are more than happy because they can buy things you can’t. They go places you can’t afford.
Did it ever occur to you that no matter the quantities of riches, there are things that money can never buy? So let’s delve deep into what needs to be the focus when it comes to achieving the ultimate goal.
Financial Freedom Don’t Guarantee Happiness
While you might bask in your glory of success it’s essential to remember that happiness and well-being depend on a range of many factors. Some examples would be mental health, relationships, personal fulfillment, and life circumstances.
Everything you know to be true about getting rich is total bullshit and you clearly need a reality check, and you have much learning and growing to do. Financial success doesn’t guarantee happiness, and individuals from all walks of life can face mental health issues.
What Needs To Be The Focus?
First off, success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. When you raise your level of happiness, doing the thing you love daily compounding over time you begin to level up and achieve the ultimate goal.
You want to continue following successful people who inspire and motivate you. If you have the capital, you hire a life coach. You continue being the best version of yourself. Read books on mindset and personal development at least 10 or more pages a day. You also want to start journaling daily writing down things you are most thankful for.
You might be saying right now “There’s nothing exciting in my life to write about.” I learned this from my accountability partner when he told me “Inspiration is all around you.” Change the philosophy and your life will start to change. There’s much more to what you do than the money you obsess over.
